Barry's background
He learned business by running businesses.
Before entering specialised business broking in 2022, Barry spent more than 30 years across manufacturing, operations, sales, senior management and business ownership.
His career began on the factory floor and progressed through leading-hand, supervisory, production and operations roles. He later moved into sales leadership, general management and branch management across manufacturing, construction and building products.
Barry also spent several years as Managing Director of his own business. His experience includes market diversification, new service development, additional store openings, documented operating standards, ERP implementation, multi-shift production and major capacity improvement.
He holds diplomas in Management, Business, and Sales & Marketing. This operator's background helps him look beyond the financial statements to the people, customers, systems, risks and opportunities a buyer is actually acquiring.
His approach is direct and customer-focused. Smaller business owners remain an important part of his work through FINN Business Sales, while his National M&A Partner role supports larger and more complex transactions across Australia.

Barry opened and leads FINN's official Western Australian branch under its full name, FINN Business Sales – Business Brokers West.
The branch gives Perth and WA owners a direct senior point of contact. Barry's national M&A role allows that local relationship to extend into broader buyer, acquirer and adviser networks when the assignment demands it.
